Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays: Launch leaves the Gamboa pier for Barro Colorado at 7:15 a.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: Launch leaves the Gamboa pier for Barro Colorado at 8:00 a.m.
It is extremely important to be on time, as STRI boats are the only means of transportation to Barro Colorado. If you miss the boat, you miss your visit. Ask for directions to Gamboa and for the bus timetable. If there are any changes to this schedule, the Visitors Office will notify you.

Visitors need to wait for their STRI guide at the dock waiting room before boarding the boat. There are no public visits to Barro Colorado on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as on certain holidays.
