MESSAGE TO THE STRI COMMUNITY REGARDING
ANAM RESEARCH PERMITS:
Dear Visitor,
If you need a research permit application for collecting, observation, or marking of specimens in Panama, a STRI research application MUST be submitted before you can continue:

RESEARCH PERMIT APPLICATION
As part of your research permit application, you must submit:
- Fill in the Request to access genetic and biological resources IN SPANISH.
Download here - Include curriculum vitae for all researchers IN SPANISH.
- Copies of passport (non-Panamanian citizens) or cédula (Panamanian citizens) for all researchers.
- Publications related to the project (if you have any). IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have been granted a previous ANAM permit, you must send any publication of results including abstract in SPANISH or a progress report IN SPANISH if publications are not issued yet.
- Download, sign, scan and send the letter of commitment along with all the other documents requested. Without this letter of commitment ANAM will not process your application. The letter with original signature will also be required. It must be delivered upon receiving your permit in Panama. Download here
