Permits

EXPORT PERMIT APPLICATION
As part of your export permit application, you must submit
the following documents:

  1. Export Permit Application form in IN SPANISH. Download here
  2.  Collecting report in SPANISH including the following information:
    • Project title
    • Justify purpose of collected  samples
    • Description of collected samples

      •  Common name
      •  Family
      •  Genus and species (if available)
      •  Quantity

    • Locality
    • Date of collection
  3. Material Transfer Agreement. Complete requested information, sign it, scan it.

  4. Letter signed by the Museum at the University of Panama confirming deposit of voucher specimens whether they are required or not.  


    IMPORTANT NOTE:  

    If samples were collected on Barro Colorado Nature Monument, the following documents will also be required:

    -Copy of passport
    (non-Panamanian citizens) or cédula (Panamanian citizens).

    -Download, sign, scan and send the letter of commitment along with all the other documents requested. Without this letter of commitment ANAM will not process your application. The letter with original signature will also be required. It must be delivered upon receiving your permit in Panama. Download here
